Mountain Guiding Professionals

ACMG guides are members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, which is Canada’s professional mountain guiding body. ACMG certification is your assurance that your guide has been trained and assessed to the accepted standard of an internationally recognized professional body, the IFMGA. Ridgeline Guiding Services only uses professionally certified ACMG guides.

Private Guiding Rates

The rates are based on a guest-to-guide ratio. For more technical objectives a ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 will be implemented, usually for safety reasons. The chart below shows our base day rates to cover most trips. It does not include additional costs that vary depending on objective chosen such as: food, transportation, sales tax, park passes, accommodation, equipment rentals, etc. Some routes will be applied a surcharge if there are increased levels of risk or commitment levels.
